The Founder

Nandana Nambiar, with an M.Sc. in Psychology and a PGDCM in Special Education, has always believed in the individuality of every child. Growing up, she saw how traditional educational practices often overlooked unique learning needs, especially for children with special needs. Driven by her love for kids, she embarked on a mission to make learning personal, nurturing growth based on each child’s unique journey. Thus, PLAY was born.

About PLAY

PLAY (Positive Learning Activities for Young Minds) is Nandana Nambiar’s heartfelt initiative to support children with special needs and their families. Based in Ahmedabad, PLAY provides personalized behavioral therapy and guidance tailored to each child’s abilities. At its core, PLAY is about creating a space where children are understood, encouraged, and celebrated for their individuality. Beyond therapy, it extends support to parents, helping them connect deeply with their children and foster development at home. Whether through online sessions or in-person care, PLAY is a compassionate effort to make learning joyful and transformative for every child.

A Personal Note from Nandana

Every child deserves to feel included, understood, and valued. At PLAY, I work closely with each family to make learning and development as unique as your child. This isn’t just my profession; it’s my passion. I’m here to make sure your child’s individuality grows with every session, helping them connect better with the world around them."

A Vision for the Future

The Road Ahead

While PLAY is rooted in Ahmedabad, our dream is to make these resources accessible to every family, no matter where they are. Together, let’s build a brighter future for our children.
